Who we are

Dawam is an app for recording employee clock-in and clock-out at approved work sites, developed and operated by SolutionTech on behalf of your employer. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, mobile number, and your supervisor's mobile number for approving requests.
• National ID / Iqama: stored hashed (encrypted); we do not keep the full number, only the last four digits for verification.
• Precise location: captured only at the moment you clock in or out, to confirm you are within your work-site's geofence.
• Device: one trusted device is linked to your account to prevent buddy-punching.
• Work records: clock-in/out times; leave, permission, and correction requests; your shift and work location; and, where your employer enables it, salary data for leave calculations.

How we use it

To verify attendance within the work-site geofence, process and approve requests, prevent attendance fraud, and provide support and legal compliance. Notifications are delivered in-app and by email.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. It is shared only with your employer, with the hosting providers that run the service under contractual obligations, or where legally required.

Security & retention

Data is transmitted and stored over encrypted connections, and the national ID is stored hashed. We retain data for as long as the service operates for your employer and as required by law, then delete or de-identify it.

Your rights

• Review your data and file an attendance-correction request inside the app.
• Request deletion of your account and data in the app or by emailing hashem@solutiontech.sa.
• Revoke location permission in your device settings (this prevents clocking in).
